Welcome back!
I first learned to create websites by writing html after reading a book way back in ummm 1999 and what my usp was back then, was the research I did on search engine optimisation (SEO) and how I applied it to all the little sites I created.
I was reminded of the basics today in a video (I’ll post the link below) and know that if you’ve got half a brain, you will take notice of the content and apply it to your own sites – immediately. The two key points Mark Widawer talks about are:
1. Make it obvious what your site is about on the page that people land on
2. Get other websites linking to yours to boost your search engine rank and appear ahead of your competitor – and the more relevant they are to your content the better
In this video he demonstrates some key essentials – some of it may go whoosh over your head if you’re a complete newbie but hopefully you will grasp the concept and get excited and apply it.
He shares simple, valuable information on how you can start stomping over the competition and you can take it away and apply immediately. And even better – this information is F*REE!
